The Allen County Public Library invites media to attend its Black History Month kick-off event “Cultural Intelligence: The Essential Ingredient for Supporting Black Employees” which will feature local leader and Vice President of Employee Wellbeing at Sweetwater, Kristal Walker. Ms. Walker will discuss how to use cultural intelligence to build personal and professional relationships in the workplace.
“We’re so pleased to welcome Kristal Walker to the Library as we begin our Black History Month activities,” said ACPL Director of Programs and Partnerships Beth Boatright. “We have seen tremendous support for this program, particularly from our business community, which tells us it is needed and appreciated in line with our mission of fostering lifelong learning and discovery!”
Media are invited to attend, take photos, and conduct interviews at the event.
