ACPL Celebrates Our Local Authors!
Are you a published author from Northeast Indiana? ACPL wants to celebrate you and here's how!
Add your book to the collection at ACPL!
We are happy to add works published by local authors to the circulating collection at ACPL. Please fill out the form to tell us more! We’ll send you instructions about the best way to donate a copy for our local author collection.
Please note some restrictions apply.
Volunteer to be featured on our Pages & Voices: Celebrating Local Authors podcast!
ACPL is developing a podcast that will feature the stories, voices, and ideas of our talented local authors. If you are interested in being a guest on our podcast, please tell us more about yourself and your work using the form. We are excited to learn more about you!
Please Note: Plans for this podcast are still in development, and we may not be able to accommodate every local author who volunteers. Podcast guests agree to talent release terms and must be available for a pre-interview phone call as well as a one hour recording session.
Volunteer to present at a future ACPL program!
We value the expertise of our local authors. In addition to offering writing groups for local poets and authors, we occasionally offer programs related to the craft of writing, publishing, and subject-matter expertise. Use the form if you’re interested in sharing your expertise with our community at a future ACPL program.
Program presenters at ACPL agree to terms; a signed Memorandum of Agreement is required for all presenters and a W9 is required for fee-based presentations.
Please note, some restrictions apply. Donated items are added to the ACPL collection at the direction of our collection development team and in accordance with our collection development policy. Very thin items and workbook-style books may not be a good fit for our collection. Donated items become the property of ACPL. Books in the Local Author collection are designated in our catalog and may be featured on a Local Author display.
