On Tuesday, July 9 New Haven Mayor Steve McMichael will guest host the Allen County Public Library’s (ACPL) regular Storytime at the New Haven Branch.
The ACPL’s Storytimes are among the most popular programs it offers, and the New Haven Branch typically welcomes between 30 and 60 children and their caregivers each week. Mayor McMichael’s Storytime will be geared toward children ages birth through preschool.
“I am thrilled to host this Storytime in partnership with the New Haven library,” said McMichael. “It is a fun and inspiring way to connect with the people of New Haven and remind them of how important early literacy is to the future of our city. I want to thank the ACPL for their partnership and the New Haven librarians for their unwavering dedication to the families and youth in this incredible community.”
Media are invited to attend, conduct interviews, and take photos.
