Audio Reading Service

Do you or someone you know have difficulty reading printed material? Allen County Public Library's Audio Reading Service is specifically designed for and directed to people who have visual, physical, learning or language challenges to reading traditional printed materials because of blindness, low-vision, a literacy issue, language barrier or a physical condition. Through this free service, you can become a member of our listening family and take advantage of the broadcasting of local and national readings, which are accessible through radio receiver, web streaming, Mobile Sero App, Alexa-enabled device and more.

The Journal Gazette

Today’s Journal Gazette, updated Monday through Saturday. This podcast is a service of the ACPL and is designed for people who have visual, physical, learning or language challenges to reading normal printed materials.

"I am a regular listener of your service. I am from Bangladesh. I visited the United States twice in the last five years. I find your audio reading service great for everyone. I would recommend your programs for those who are trying to improve their listening comprehension of American English."

Audio Reading Service Program

The library’s audio reading service broadcasts 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
