ACPL Student Library Cards

Beginning in 2025, ACPL is partnering with select schools to offer library cards that are affiliated with a student’s school ID!

Through this program, students will:

  • Be able to show either their library card or school ID to access books and services at any ACPL location

  • Have access to ACPL’s books, free online tutoring, test prep, language-learning, and more

  • For new accounts, receive a new ACPL library card with a design created just for students

  • Get a head start on lifelong learning and discovery at the library

ACPL cards are fine-free and subject to the standard policies of Allen County Public Library.

These materials are provided solely by the Allen County Public Library and are neither furnished nor endorsed by any school district. Not all ACPL materials may be accessible from school networks and school-issued devices.

  • ACPL cards are fine-free! No fines will be charged for overdue physical materials.

Cardholders are subject to replacement cost charges if material is lost or damaged.  If lost items are returned the replacement cost is waived.  For a full guide to borrowing ACPL materials please visit the ACPL Policies & Procedures page.
