New Haven Mayor Steve McMichael to Return as Guest Host for Library Storytime

New Haven Mayor Steve McMichael will return to the Allen County Public Library’s New Haven Branch on Wednesday, October 7, to guest host Storytime for local children and their caregivers.

Following the success of his first Storytime in 2024, Mayor McMichael is once again joining ACPL librarians to celebrate the importance of reading, early literacy, and connecting families with their local library.

“Storytime is one of those special opportunities where we can come together as a community while helping our youngest residents discover the joy of books and learning,” said McMichael. “I’m excited to return to the New Haven Branch and spend time with local families. Our library is such an important resource for children and caregivers, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to partner with ACPL again.”

Media are invited to attend, conduct interviews, and take photos.
