The Allen County Public Library (ACPL) and is pleased to host the upcoming American Revolution Experience Traveling Exhibition, presented in partnership with the Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the American Battlefield Trust. This exciting exhibition will be on display from November 8 to November 15, at the Main Library, located at 900 Library Plaza.
The American Revolution Experience is an innovative pop-up exhibition designed to engage visitors with the history of the Revolutionary War through a blend of storytelling, illustration, technology, and unique artifacts. The exhibit features, interactive digital kiosks and informative display panels that bring to life the stories of the individuals and events that shaped the birth of the United States.
“American independence was not pre-ordained. It was won on the battlefield by brave volunteers willing to sacrifice everything for an ideal, a hope, and the promise of liberty,” said Benita Steyer, host and past regent of the Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter of the DAR. “We look forward to welcoming the community to experience this engaging exhibition and to celebrate the rich history of the American Revolution.”
