Free T'ai Chi Classes on the Plaza

Join us for free all-ages T'ai Chi classes this summer outside on the Main Library Plaza! We are excited to host Liz Monnier of the Fort Wayne Dance Collective who will lead these all-level classes.

May 4 & 18
June 8 & 22
July 6 & 27
August 17 & 31

Classes will be held at the Main Library (900 Library Plaza) outdoors on the Plaza. Bring a friend and a bottle of water! All classes are completely free and open to the public.

With its low-impact, slow-motion exercises, T’ai Chi can be easily adapted for anyone at any skill level. T’ai Chi is a mind-body practice that originated in China as a martial art and has value in treating or preventing several medical conditions including: arthritis, low bone density, heart disease, hypertension, sleep problems, and Fibromyalgia.

Free T'ai Chi classes are also being offered at the following locations in May:

New Haven Branch
Mondays in May
10:30-11:30 am

Little Turtle Branch
Thursdays in May
10:30–11:30 am
