Join us at the Allen County Public Library for a special visit with acclaimed author Paula McLain. Her presentation, "Creating Fiction from Real-Life Characters" will begin at 7:00 pm in our Main Library Theater (located on Lower Level 2). The author will be signing books immediately after her presentation. Books will be available for purchase.

This event is free and open to the public.

Our Main Library is located at 900 Library Plaza Fort Wayne, Indiana. Parking is available in the library parking lots and parking garage.

Paula McLain is the New York Times bestselling author of the novels "The Paris Wife," "Love and Ruin," "Circling the Sun," and "A Ticket to Ride," the memoir "Like Family: Growing Up in Other People’s Houses," and two collections of poetry. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, Good Housekeeping, O: The Oprah Magazine, Town & Country, The Guardian, The Huffington Post, and elsewhere. She lives in Ohio with her family.
