Did you know the Main Library has a book club for adults? It is called Chapter Two and it meets the third Thursday of every month, except December. In July, the club will be discussing the novel A Lesson in Hope from the Hope series by bestselling author Philip Gulley.
Gulley is a Quaker pastor, writer, and speaker from Danville, Indiana who has published 21 books, including the acclaimed Harmony series which chronicles life in the eccentric Quaker community of Harmony, Indiana. An eclectic writer whose books have been described as “heartwarming,” “amusing,” and “upbeat,” Gulley has also written several books of theology, including Living the Quaker Way: Timeless Wisdom for a Better Life Today, as well as the memoir I Love You, Miss Huddleston: And Other Inappropriate Longings of My Indiana Childhood.
