Windows XP

1. Click on Start and select ALL Programs.
2. Select Accessories, then Communications.
3. Select New Connection Wizard. Click Next.
4. Select Connect to Internet. Click Next.
5. Select Setup Connection Manually. Click Next.
6. Select Connect Using a Dial-Up Modem.
7. Type name for connection (i.e ACPL). Click Next.
8. Type phone number (260) 489-7087 (no area code if local)
9. For account information, enter library barcode number (no spaces) for User Name, Password, and Confirm Password. Leave all the boxes on this screen checked. Click Next.
10. Check box to Add Shortcut to the Desktop.
11. Click Finish.
12. Double click new icon, then click Connect.
13. Open web browser (Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc.) and enter www.acpl.lib.in.us at the location or address box.
