2012 Mock Newbery Election

Teachers, librarians, and interested adults! Sign up now to participate in the annual ACPL Mock Newbery Election. Help us pick the most distinguished work of children's literature published in 2011. No experience necessary!

This is the second short reading list for this year's Mock Newbery program at the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Titles new to this list are in bold. We encourage comments on all of the books on the ACPL Mock Newbery Blog, but the books on this short list will be 'brought to the table' to be discussed in more depth at our Mock Newbery Discussion and Election, to be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
