Book Awards: Caldecott Medal
2010 Mock Caldecott Election
Teachers, librarians, and interested adults! Sign up now to participate in the annual ACPL Mock
Caldecott Election. Help us pick the most distinguished American picture book for children published in 2009.
No experience
necessary!
This is the fourth and final reading list for this year's Mock Caldecott Election. Titles new to the list
are in bold. We invite you to join in the
discussion of these and other titles currently underway on the ACPL Mock Caldecott Blog:
http://www.acplmockcaldecott.blogspot.com.
Our Mock Caldecott Election will be held on Saturday, January 16th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We'll meet in person at the Main Library
in Fort Wayne for a final discussion, and then we will vote on our favorites, following the ALSC Guidelines
as closely as possible.
If you would like to participate in this year's Mock Election, please call Children's Services at 260-421-1220. We hope to see you there, but if you just can't make it, remember that all blog posts will
be considered during the discussion and election process.
