ACCESS FORT WAYNE
Access Fort Wayne provides a variety of unique services for the library.
AFW originates three cable access television channels from the first floor of the Main Library on both Verizon and Comcast cable.
On Verizon:
Access One: Channel 25
Access Two: Channel 27
City TV: Channel 28
On Comcast:
Access One: Channel 55
Access Two: Channel 57
City TV: Channel 58
AFW is a full production facility with two TV studios and editing facilities. Access Fort Wayne also hosts the Community Computer Center located just down the hall from our reception desk.
Recently, the Northeast Indiana Radio Reading Service (NEIRRS) joined the library under the supervision of AFW. NEIRRS can be reached at (260) 421-1376 and is located at 7615 DiSalle Blvd. They provide daily live readings over sideband radio for the visually and print impaired.
